Al-Noor Journal for Oil and Gas (NJOG) is a peer-reviewed, open-access scientific journal published quarterly by the College of Engineering at Al-Noor University, Iraq, since January 2025. The journal operates under the Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International (CC BY 4.0) license, promoting unrestricted access and sharing with proper citation.
To ensure the originality and integrity of submitted manuscripts, all papers are screened using iThenticate. NJOG employs a double-blind peer review process to maintain high standards of academic quality.
The journal publishes original research articles and review papers in the field of oil and gas engineering, including exploration, production, and energy technologies. NJOG is indexed in the Iraqi Academic Scientific Journals (IASJ) database.
NJOG does not receive financial support from any governmental or non-governmental organization and operates independently.
